Installation Coordinator (IC)Ā 

Ā 

The Install Coordinator (IC) for SAT will manage key customer projects locally for the branch. This position will serve as the handoff from the Territory Manager (TM) to Operations onĀ installĀ projects for our organization. The Install Coordinator will work hand in hand with the TM to oversee all aspects of a project and be responsible to help deliver the project on time, per scope and within budget. From the time the TM sends submittals until the IC schedules labor, the ICĀ is responsible forĀ all aspects of comprehensive job planning to ensure resources are deployed correctly and used as efficiently as possible. In the post‑installation stage, the IC also serves as the primaryĀ customerĀ contact for administrative closeout,Ā finalizingĀ documentation with the customer to ensureĀ timelyĀ payment for completed work. The Install Coordinator will be the primary customer contact, driving administrative closeout activities,Ā finalizingĀ documentation to secureĀ timelyĀ payment, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.Ā

What You Will Do:Ā 

  • Manage the relationship with the customer and internal SAT departmentsĀ 

  • Providing clear communications between customer and all SAT departmentsĀ 

  • Attend coordination meetings & trainings as required by customerĀ Ā 

  • Meet with customers to clarify specific job site requirementsĀ 

  • AssistĀ in the technical feasibility of project scope andĀ objectives, involving all relevant stakeholdersĀ Ā 

  • Provide Take Offs & be able to provide other project related details for Territory Manager and OperationsĀ Ā 

  • Job Site Readiness Checks to ensure project following schedule

  • Work with IC to develop a detailed project plan toĀ monitorĀ and track progressĀ 

  • Coordinate and document changes to the project scope, projectĀ scheduleĀ and project costsĀ Ā 

  • Measure project performance usingĀ appropriate toolsĀ and techniquesĀ 

  • Report and escalate to management as neededĀ 

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risksĀ 

  • Create andĀ maintainĀ comprehensive project documentationĀ 

  • Meet budgetaryĀ objectivesĀ andĀ make adjustments toĀ project constraintsĀ Ā 

  • Give guidance when needed to techs; provideĀ on siteĀ supervisionĀ 

  • Use and continually develop leadership skillsĀ 

  • Provide assistance toĀ customer in obtaining close out docs & signaturesĀ 

  • Perform other related duties as assignedĀ

What You Need to Succeed:Ā 

  • High School Diploma or GEDĀ requiredĀ 

  • Experience as a project coordinator in a construction or industrial environment. Ā Ā 

  • StrongĀ computer, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ā Ā 

  • Exceptional attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.Ā Ā 

  • Ability to lead and direct the work of others.Ā 

  • Taking ownership of larger projects and being the eyes & ears for SAT locally at these jobsites.Ā Ā 

Ā 

Additional Preferred Skills & Knowledge:Ā Ā 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing. Ā Ā 

  • Project Management or Finance experience. Ā Ā 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 systems.Ā Ā
