Summary of the role聽

The Installation Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and leading the installation of the site works of projects. This person will work in collaboration with other Installation Coordinators, the Site Managers and Supervisors as well as the project management team. The scope of a hydro-electric power project will include all aspects of turbine and generator installation.

The following responsibilities form the core of this role:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Remote supervision and strategic coordination of all site installation activities related to the system (Turbine, Generator, BOP, EPS)聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversight of safe and cost-effective execution of installation works, ensuring alignment with the project schedule and specifications聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Representing聽and safeguarding the interests of ANDRITZ at the site level through remote leadership聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensuring installation works聽comply with聽contract specifications, drawings, and documentation via off-site coordination聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supporting hands-on site installation indirectly through guidance and coordination with the Site Manager and installation team聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Verifying that site personnel are suitably qualified and aligned with ANDRITZ standards and best practices聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Facilitating active cooperation across internal and external system interfaces, including coordination between site activities and broader project stakeholders聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensuring internal reporting of safety-critical incidents and near misses is completed and escalated appropriately聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Reviewing and聽consolidating聽daily logs and contributing to weekly/monthly installation activity reports聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Planning and ensuring聽timely聽provision of聽manpower, tools, equipment, and devices for each installation phase聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Overseeing compilation of actual drawings and installation documentation from a remote coordination standpoint聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensuring proper, safe, and professional聽component聽handling through strategic oversight聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinating preparation and handover of spare parts, project tools, and devices in collaboration with the Site Manager聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Organizing on-site training of client personnel as specified, in coordination with site staff聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Facilitating cooperation between site personnel including Installation Supervisors and Commissioning Coordinators/Engineers聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Providing input for final as-built drawings and ensuring documentation completeness聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 5+ years of proven experience in a foreman, site supervisor and/or manager role related to Hydroelectric Turbines, Generators, Balance of Plant and/or Electrical Power Systems.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience working on large, complex construction projects.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of OSHA standards

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of applicable ISO Standards

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Familiarity with applicable US Standards

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Able to read engineering drawings and procedures

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to read and understand contract requirements

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to identify non-conformances and organize the work

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Use of LMS, QCS and other Site related Software.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Authority to stop work are site due to health and safety issues or quality concerns
