About the role:
As an Intake Representative at KabaFusion, you are responsible for processing referrals and getting patients on service. This will include commercial, private and government insurances for patients receiving specialty medications; such as Remicade and Stelara. You will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure we are providing an exceptional level of patient care with each interaction.Â
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Initiates intake process gathers relevant data from referral sources and completes intake paperwork.
- Verify insurance and eligibility along with obtaining authorizations when necessary.
- Completes start of care paperwork.
- Contact patients to confirm information and notify them of their financial obligation.
As an Intake Coordinator, you bring:
- High school diploma or equivalentÂ
- Knowledge of HCPC, ICD-10 and CPT codesÂ
- At least 2-years previous intake experience including eligibility and authorization.
