Evergreen Innovation Group,Ā part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a motivatedĀ ElectricalĀ Journeyman to join our vibrant team inĀ Charlotte, NC.Ā UnderĀ generalĀ supervision, they willĀ installĀ electricalĀ systems,Ā services,Ā andĀ equipmentĀ inĀ accordanceĀ withĀ allĀ applicableĀ plans,Ā specifications,Ā codes,Ā andĀ industryĀ standardsĀ andĀ asĀ directedĀ byĀ Foreman.

TheyĀ willĀ installĀ andĀ provideĀ forĀ theĀ safeĀ conditionĀ andĀ operationĀ ofĀ allĀ electricalĀ fixturesĀ andĀ systems. This individual willĀ alsoĀ adhereĀ toĀ establishedĀ workĀ timelinesĀ toĀ meetĀ theĀ constructionĀ scheduleĀ forĀ theĀ project.Ā Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:Ā 

Ā 

Duties and ResponsibilitiesĀ 

  • Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery and equipment following electrical code, manuals, specifications, schematics, and blueprints.Ā 

  • Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels, etc.Ā 

  • Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus for machines and equipment in new and existing facilities following diagrams, schematics, or blueprints.Ā 

  • Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment using testing instruments and equipment.Ā 

  • Test continuity of circuits to ensure compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments.Ā 

  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using rulers, measuring devices, hand tools, pipe threader, and conduit bender.Ā 

  • Receive and complete work orders.Ā 

  • Select material and hardware necessary to complete assigned tasks.Ā 

  • Accurately report material and labor used to complete projects.Ā 

  • ResponsiblyĀ maintainĀ company-owned tools, equipment, and materials.Ā 

  • Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.Ā 

  • Demonstrates understanding and enthusiastic agreement with the vision and mission of EIG, LLC.Ā 

  • Effective participation in team environment, building principals, General Contractor, and supervisors.Ā 

  • Follows and enforces the standards of safety (IFE), and exemplary quality of work set forth by EIG, LLC.Ā

Required Skills and AbilitiesĀ 

  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material.Ā 

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ā 

  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.Ā 

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve problems.Ā 

  • Ability to use hand and power tools.Ā 

  • Ability to contribute to a culture of safety in a construction environment.Ā 

  • A strong desireĀ to learn and grow a, working under the supervision of the Foreman.Ā 

  • A strong work ethic and a ā€œcan-doā€ attitude.Ā 

Ā 

Education and ExperienceĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā 

  • 5+ years of experience inĀ CommercialĀ Construction Electrical field.Ā 

  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.Ā Ā 

  • Pass a background check, including drugĀ test.Ā 

  • Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring.Ā 

  • Knowledge of electrical codes.Ā 

  • OSHA 30 and StateĀ licenseĀ preferred but notĀ required.Ā
