Responsibilities include to maintaining clean, sanitary and safe common areas around the community, such as laundry rooms, breezeways and grounds of the community. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S) Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed to include painting and cleaning if required. Responsible for alerting the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor of any concerns, occurrences and/or preventative maintenance that requires attention. Clean lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways. Sweep, mops, scrub, wax and polish floors, vacuum hallways, stairs and office space. Shovel snow from walks and driveways. Spread salt on public passageways to prevent ice or snow build up. Wash walls, ceilings and woodwork. Wash windows, windowsill, doors, and door panels. Dust all furniture, fixtures and built in shelves or bookcases. Empty wastebaskets, trash cans, and ashtrays include those in the office space. Replenish supplies in the restrooms. Replace light bulbs. Move furniture. Clean drainage ditches and culvert. Clean grounds remove litter. Qualifications Education: Must demonstrate literacy in the English language including reading Experience: One to two years of related experience and/or training Computer Skills: Not required. Certificates & Licenses: Valid State Issued Drivers’ License Other Requirements: Authorized to work in the United States
