Job Overview

The Data Product Manager is responsible for leading a team of Data Product Developers and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of standard data products and business-facing analytical outputs. This role translates business priorities into team execution, manages workload and delivery expectations, and ensures outputs meet enterprise standards for accuracy, consistency, and usability.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and performance manage Data Product Developers to ensure effective execution, development, and accountability across the Data Product Developer I and II levels
  • Prioritize, assign, and oversee day-to-day delivery of standard data products, dashboards, reports, and recurring analytical outputs
  • Partner with business stakeholders and leadership to align work intake, priorities, and delivery expectations to business needs
  • Monitor delivery quality, remove blockers, and ensure outputs align to enterprise standards, approved logic, and support expectations
  • Support continuous improvement of team processes, delivery methods, and role development across the Data Product Developer family
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Experience leading or supervising teams responsible for reporting, analytics, or data product delivery
  • Strong understanding of dashboards, reporting, data products, and business-facing analytical output delivery
  • Ability to prioritize work, balance team capacity, and manage delivery against business demand
  • Experience coaching, developing, and performance managing individual contributors
  • Ability to translate business priorities into clear work direction and execution plans
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of enterprise data standards, delivery processes, and support expectations
  • Ability to identify delivery risks, remove blockers, and improve team effectiveness

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
  • 5 to up to 7 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
