The ideal manufacturing laborer candidate possesses hands-on experience with hand tools, mechanical aptitude, and can work as a team in a manufacturing environment.
Manufacturing Laborer Responsibilities:
- Assemble crossbelts for sorter systems according to specifications
- Use and identify various hand tools essential for assembly tasks
- Collaborate with team members and engineers to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain punctuality and attendance, as consistent presence is critical to project success
- Inspect assembled components for quality and accuracy
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist team members with troubleshooting and problem-solving during the assembly process
- Operate and maintain hand tools and basic power tools safely and properly
- Report any defects or issues to supervisors promptly to prevent delays
- Adhere to production schedules and meet daily output goals
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required to improve skills and processes
Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing/assembly environment
- Proven experience with hand tools and mechanical work
- Ability to identify and utilize tools appropriately
- Mechanical inclined - experience in automotive, construction, or similar fields a plus
- Strong team player with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Reliable and detail-oriented
