Location: Charlotte, NC 10000 Twin lakes Parkway

Shift: 2nd Shift Hours - 3:30pm-12:00am (Monday-Friday). Potential for Saturday shifts on as-needed basis

Starting Rate of Pay: $19.50 + 1.50/hr shift differential 

 

Job Overview:

The Warehouse Associate (Material Handler) distributes either production or non - production items and materials to various locations throughout the warehouse. Materials may consist of purchased parts, in process parts, or finished goods.

 

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Follow company packaging procedures and quality standards to ensure products are shipped accurately and safely.
    • Review shipments and related documentation for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
    • Verify shipping details and special customer instructions.
    • Inspect, weigh, label, and package products for shipment.
    • Move materials and products throughout the warehouse to support production and customer fulfillment.
    • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
    • Assist at various workstations as needed to support team goals.
    • Properly dispose of packaging materials, including cardboard and strapping.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and support operational excellence.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferably in material handling.
    • Working knowledge of inventory management processes.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Dependable, accountable, and committed to meeting deadlines and commitments.
    • Ability to follow work instructions, maintain attendance standards, and adapt to changing priorities.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
    • Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the workday.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds unassisted on a regular basis.
    • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
