TheāÆLight/Medium Duty Automotive TechnicianāÆwillĀ be responsible forĀ performing Preventative Maintenance inspections, light and follow-up repairs, light mechanical/hydraulic/electrical and electronic diagnostics, licensed DOT inspections, and other duties as assigned at our customer locations.āÆLight/Medium Duty Automotive TechnicianāÆcontinues to learnĀ additionalĀ advanced mechanical skills and diagnostic Techniques.⯠A successfulāÆLight/Medium Duty Automotive TechnicianāÆcomplies withĀ all company policies and achievesĀ high levelĀ performance metrics.āÆĀ
Ā
You will work on various light/medium duty vehicles such as F150, F250, and F350, including some specialtyĀ equipmentĀ etc.Ā
Travel isĀ requiredĀ 100% of the time. This position will service multiple customers in your area and around the state, depending on customer concentration.Ā
A rotating schedule of Mon-Fri the first week and Mon-Sat the second weekāÆ(Home every day)āÆĀ

DUTIESāÆĀ
Always follow andĀ comply withĀ safe operating practices and procedures.āÆāÆĀ
Travel to and perform work at customerĀ location, with most of the work performed outside. āÆĀ
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (āPMā), DOT Inspections and follow up repairs on light and medium vehicles in the field.Ā
Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment.āÆĀ
Use hand tools, precision instruments, as well as some Diesel tools, lifts, and jacks.āÆĀ
Perform minor adjustment and repairs onĀ various typesĀ of customer vehicles, trucks, and equipment including, but not limited to the following: Electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems, Starters/Alternators, Fan clutches, Engine electronics, Engines (gas only), Transmissions (manual and automatic) etc.āÆĀ
Diagnose, adjust, and repair various types of vehicles, trucks, and equipment including, but not limited to the following: Electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems, Starters/Alternators, Air conditioning systems, Fan clutches, Engine electronics, Diesel steering systems, Engines (gas only), Transmissions (manual and automatic), Clutches, Differentials, etc.āÆĀ
Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as scanners and pressure gauges.āÆĀ
IdentifyĀ problems,Ā determineĀ accuracy and relevance of information, using sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives.āÆāÆĀ
IndependentlyĀ determiningĀ parts required for each job, ordering, and picking up the parts for installation. āÆĀ
Perform all work in compliance with organizational safety, health and environmental policies, and federal regulations,Ā to includeĀ OSHA, EPA, and DOT.āÆĀ
Document according to company standards and upload pictures of work performed, parts used, and all findingsĀ observedĀ on Repair Orders (āROā) using company provided cellphone and on paper. āÆāÆĀ
Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion, as applicable.āÆĀ
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.āÆĀ AssistĀ in cleanup at the end of each day for tools, parts, and equipment.āÆāÆĀ
Apply knowledge that isĀ acquiredĀ through formal training or on-the-job experience to perform one's job; works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job.āÆāÆĀ
Work withĀ supportĀ team to assess customer needs, provide information orĀ assistance,Ā resolvingĀ their problems, orĀ satisfyingĀ their expectations.āÆĀ

Communicate with support team in corporate offices to obtain approvals on repair estimates, retrieve purchase order numbers and/or discuss RO findings notes.āÆĀ
Participate and complete all-in companyĀ requiredĀ safety training.āÆĀ
Maintain assigned serviceĀ vehicle, conduct safetyĀ checksĀ and daily pre/post trip inspections.āÆĀ
Adhere to company policies, processes, and procedures.āÆĀ

REQUIREMENTSāÆĀ
High School Diploma or GED preferred.āÆĀ
Safe drivers needed; valid driverās licenseĀ required.Ā
Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.āÆĀ
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skill/experiences.āÆĀ
2 years of equivalent experience in a similar capacity Technician role.āÆĀ
Participate in and complete all-in company required training.āÆĀ

Flag Roles:
This position offers productionābased pay, meaning compensation is determined by the tasks performed. Pay ranges from $24.23 to $36.35 per flag hour based on location. The position may also be eligible for additional compensation, which may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
