About the Role

As a People Partner, Strategic Programs, you will play a key role in driving and coordinating critical People initiatives that support both talent and business priorities across Maersk. Acting as the central point of integration for programs such as Workforce Planning, Annual Salary Review, Employee Engagement, Recognition & Rewards, People Analytics, Workday data quality, and strategic People initiatives, you will partner closely with People Partners, Centers of Excellence, Finance, and business leaders. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, lead cross-functional projects, drive organizational change, and enhance the employee experience through data-driven insights and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders across HR, Finance, and business functions.
  • Develop expertise in workforce planning, people analytics, organizational effectiveness, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate strategic People programs including Workforce Planning, Compensation Planning, Engagement, Recognition & Rewards, and People Analytics initiatives.
  • Manage project plans, governance processes, timelines, risks, and stakeholder alignment for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Develop and execute communication and change management strategies that drive adoption and sustainable outcomes.
  • Create and deliver dashboards, scorecards, OPRs, and executive-level reporting to support business decisions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to maintain Workday data quality, reporting accuracy, and process consistency.
  • Analyze workforce and talent data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate governance forums, working teams, and strategic discussions while driving accountability and execution.

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and strategic business initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing priorities, risks, governance, and execution.
  • Experience developing and implementing change management and communication strategies.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with the ability to transform data into actionable business insights.
  • Experience supporting workforce planning, compensation planning, employee engagement, talent management, or organizational effectiveness programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday, including reporting, data governance, and process management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across a matrixed organization.

Job type: Full-time

Location: Charlotte, NC or Santa Fe Springs, CA

Travel expectations: Approximately 10-15% travel, as required.

Salary: $95,000 - $125,000*

*The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
