Job Description
The Process Automation Specialist supports the Finance organization by reviewing end‑to‑end processes and identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency aligned with company policy and government contractor standards. This role assists with requirements gathering, testing, and quality audits of automation routines, while also reviewing non‑automated processes for efficiency improvements. The Process Automation Specialist is responsible for completing quarterly compliance audits, maintaining timely operational metrics, and preparing clear presentations for leadership on automation findings, results, and business justifications. Additionally, this role supports corporate card administration activities, including new card applications, employee terminations, and customer service inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review end‑to‑end processes to identify opportunities for new automation routines based on policy requirements and government contractor standards.
- Assist with gathering business requirements for new automation initiatives and document findings accurately.
- Perform testing of new automation routines to ensure proper functionality and compliance.
- Conduct regular quality audits (“pulse checks”) of existing automation routines to identify defects or performance issues.
- Evaluate non‑automated processes to recommend improvements or future automation candidates.
- Complete quarterly compliance audits accurately and on schedule, ensuring all required documentation and reporting deadlines are met.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational metrics related to automation capabilities and provide timely updates to leadership.
- Develop and deliver presentations that clearly communicate automation findings, results, trends, and business justifications for future initiatives.
- Support corporate card administration activities, including processing new card applications, employee terminations, account updates, and related maintenance tasks.
- Respond to incoming inquiries as a customer service representative for corporate card program questions and general support needs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent application of policies, continuous process improvement, and adherence to internal controls and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, testing results, audit findings, and automation performance measures.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 3+ years with HS
- 1+ years with AA
- Experience in SAP Concur
- Experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll or Expense
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- 5+ years with AA or BS
- Experience with Detect by Oversight
- M365 including PowerAutomate and PowerBI
- Alteryx
- Dataiku
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $50277 - $80443
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
