At Gas Fired Products, we’re looking for a Project Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both designing and building. This isn’t just a desk job—you’ll be actively involved in creating, testing, and improving products that make an impact. What You’ll Do Lead the design and development of new products from concept to completion Improve and refine existing products through redesign and hands-on testing Create and update detailed 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks Build and test prototypes in our engineering lab Ensure all products meet safety, electrical, and industry standards Develop supporting materials (installation manuals, labels, technical documentation, etc.) Collaborate with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams Prepare documentation for regulatory and agency approvals What You Bring 5+ years of project engineering experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Strong mechanical aptitude—you enjoy building and testing, not just designing Solid understanding of low-voltage electrical systems (up to 600V) Knowledge of electrical safety practices and PPE Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Bonus points if you have experience with gas or electrical product design and certification.
