Regional Manager Greensboro [60088389]

The Regional Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight for a regional sales team to ensure achievement of revenue goals, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. This role leads Sales Representatives, Assistant Regional Managers, and Office Managers to deliver results through effective territory management, retailer engagement, and compliance with Lottery standards. The Regional Manager serves as the primary liaison between regional field operations and corporate leadership, aligning sales strategies with organizational objectives to maximize returns to education.


**INTERNAL POSTING**


Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, coach, and develop regional sales and support staff to foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and high performance
  • Execute strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth, retailer retention, and operational efficiency within the assigned territory
  • Conduct ride-along evaluations with Sales Representatives to assess sales performance, territory coverage, and adherence to Lottery sales practices
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress toward goals and identify opportunities for improvement across regions
  • Oversee implementation of vending assets, digital menu boards, SCIQ ticket dispensers, and ticket vending machines to ensure optimal utilization
  • Manage regional sales operations, including warehouse inventory, POS distribution, and supply procurement, to support retailer success
  • Address retailer issues proactively through consistent communication, field visits, and responsive service resolutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments, including Marketing, Claims, and Legal, to streamline operations and ensure regulatory compliance


Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in sales leadership or field operations management
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership with a focus on exceeding revenue and performance targets
  • Deep understanding of lottery operations, retailer engagement, and sales channel optimization
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and iPad-based applications such as Sales Wizard or other SFAs
  • Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and sound judgment in decision-making
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Ability to meet sales goals/maximize sales
  • Notary Public Certification
  • Valid NC Driver's License
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)


Hiring Rate: $79,418 (this exempt position will be filled at or near the posted salary)
