FT Nights, 3 12hr shifts/36hrs per week, 7p-7a

Pay Range:

$38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work:  

2 West is a 33 bed Med/Surg Observation Unit.  Our patient population includes chest pain observation, stroke work up, orthopedic surgeries such as knee replacements, asthma exacerbations, abdominal pain, dehydration, syncope, nausea/vomiting, kidney stones and respiratory illness.  2 West is a fast-paced unit that sees an abundance of discharges and admissions each day.  We encourage our nurses to take part in clinical advancement which includes CNCP program and Med/Surg Certification.  If you are interested in Shared Governance, we have opportunities to join our UPC and Length of Stay Workgroup.  We have fostered a unit culture of teamwork, psychological safety, and integrity and would love for you to join our 2 West family! 

 

Expectations We’re Looking For:  

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing  

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices  

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association  

 

What You’ll Do:  

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.  

• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
