Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
 Location: Charlotte, NC
 Schedule: Full-Time | Saturday Rotation
Pay Range: $25–$29 per hour (based on experience)

Farmington Village Animal Hospital is a brand-new companion animal hospital opening this January. While we are starting with one veterinarian, we have exciting plans to grow and expand our services to better serve the pets and families in our community.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) required

  • Minimum of 1 year of veterinary technician experience

  • Confident in-patient care, anesthesia monitoring, and clinical support

  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills

  • A compassionate, dependable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

What You’ll Do

  • Provide compassionate care for patients and exceptional service to clients

  • Assist the veterinarian during appointments, medical, surgical, and dental procedures

  • Prepare patients for surgery, assist with anesthesia, and monitor patients during surgery and recovery

  • Perform laboratory diagnostics including blood draws, urinalysis, fecal exams, heartworm testing, and specialty testing (ACTH stim, bile acids, LDDST)

  • Take radiographs and perform EKG

  • Admit and discharge patients; educate clients on medications, preventatives, and at-home care

  • Maintain accurate and professional electronic medical records

  • Prepare treatment plans and client estimates

  • Maintain clean exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites

  • Assist with pharmacy duties, inventory management, and hospital organization

  • Collaborate with the entire team to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient outcomes
