Electrical Maintenance Supervisor 

Location: Charlotte, NC | Full-Time | Day Shift

We’re looking for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead critical operations across utilities, cranes, mobile equipment, and facilities. This role is key to ensuring safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.

What Your Purpose Will Be:

To be succesful in this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance and establishing a safety conscious, productive, and high performing working environment. The major role is to focus on all aspects related to safety, environmental, production, cost, quality, and people management. 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and supervise electrical maintenance operations throughout the rolling mill.
  • Drive predictive, preventive, and proactive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and boost productivity.
  • Train and coach team members in safety, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless operations and equipment reliability.
  • Conduct performance audits, trend analysis, and implement corrective action plans.
  • Administer safety programs and emergency preparedness procedures.
  • Utilize Maintenance Management Software and CAD tools for planning and documentation.

 

 

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred) OR 7+ years of relevant electrical experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC systems, motors, transformers, and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of large AC and DC Drives (preferred).
  • Knowledge of medium voltage switchgears and transformers (preferred).
  • Experience with SCADA and PLC systems (preferred).
  • Experience With industrial air/fuel furnaces would be helpful.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and maintenance software tools.
  • A leadership mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and team development.
