Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Property Protection Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, office spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Maintain a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity while supporting a courteous, service-oriented environment for customers and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
