Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Computer Reporting in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and report access-control concerns to site management.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to the Allied Universal supervisor and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
