Support a variety of task as outlined in the " RES " Request for Engineering Services. (Pre-sale/Post-sale projects, Machine demonstrations, Machine Specifications, Distributor support, Training, Show, Events and Documentation Main focus - Mill Products - 4 and 5 Axis Machines and Laser EX Integrations   Responsibilities: Technical Support - OAC Sales, Distributor Sales, Applications and Service, including Answer man and CRM's. Technical Support - new products, features and functions (internal and external). Focus on high end products (4 and 5 axis capability) and machines with Laser Integration. Customer Training - first-time a machine is installed in a territory, high tech products, automation, gantries, multi-function lathes. Demonstrations/Test Cuts - customer specific, shows and events at OAC and the Tech Centers Post Sale Project Support - Turnkeys, Run-offs, Distributor request, visits related to technical issues, process issues and machine performance. Prepare and provide turnkeys, machine specifications and cycle time estimates Documentation - demo reports, trip reports, technical reports, Application Bulletins Showroom and machine maintenance - installation and prep machines to ship Travels in support of the duties/task listed above Qualifications High School or Equivalent License/ Certificate Trade School Associates Degree (Preferred) Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) Math, PC Skills, Communications and report writing SME, Manufacturing/Machining Experience Manufacturing - Machine Tool Familiar with the type of components being machined/processed in various industries -  Oil/Energy, Aerospace, Construction, Fluids And or Medical.   Familiarity with modern CNC machines and controls (preferably Okuma) Familiarity with current cutting tools. Familiarity with a wide range of manual and hydraulic work holding Familiarity with robotic systems Familiarity with SPC. Familiarity with PC applications - CAD/CAM, AOT, CAS, 3DVM, VeriCut and Modeling software Ability to write documents, reports and power points
