Summary

The Senior Business Development Leader will be responsible for driving strategic revenue growth for eClerx across Banking and Financial Services clients. This role focuses on originating, shaping, and closing large, complex deals by positioning eClerx’s capabilities across operations, analytics, digital transformation, AI, and managed services. The incumbent will work closely with senior client stakeholders and internal solutioning and delivery teams to create differentiated, value-led solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes, including cost optimization, efficiency gains, revenue uplift, and improved customer experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end business development for assigned BFSI accounts and new logo pursuits, including pipeline creation, opportunity qualification, deal structuring, negotiation, and closure. 
  • Drive consultative, value-based selling of eClerx solutions across banking operations, analytics, digital, AI, process re-engineering, and managed services.
  • Partner with CXOs and senior leadership stakeholders at client organizations to identify transformation opportunities aligned to cost reduction, productivity improvement, regulatory compliance, and customer experience enhancement. 
  • Collaborate with internal solution design, delivery, and practice teams to build scalable, compliant, and outcome-driven proposals tailored to client needs. 
  • Develop account growth strategies, including cross-sell and upsell of eClerx services across retail banking, lending, mortgages, payments, financial crime, and capital markets operations.
  • Support governance of large client portfolios, including revenue forecasting, deal reviews, pipeline hygiene, and performance tracking. 
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape to proactively identify new business opportunities for eClerx. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor and ambassador for eClerx, strengthening long-term client relationships and reinforcing eClerx’s market credibility. 

Eligibility Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in business development, consulting, sales, or client services within Banking and Financial Services, preferably in ITES, KPO, or professional services environments.
  • Proven track record of originating and closing large, complex, multi-year deals involving transformation, outsourcing, analytics, or managed services. 
  • Strong domain expertise in one or more BFSI areas such as retail banking, lending, mortgages, payments, financial crime, or capital markets operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior client stakeholders (CXO, EVP, SVP) with credibility and influence. 
  • Experience working with global delivery models and collaborating with cross-functional teams across geographies. 
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred; relevant certifications (Lean Six Sigma, AI, Mortgage, etc.) are an advantage.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. 
  • Valid work authorization status in the US. 

 

In the US, the target base salary for this role is $200K-$240K + sales incentives. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors
