Are You the Person Who Is Always Three Steps Ahead?

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is looking for an exceptional Senior Executive Assistant to the President & CEO—someone who anticipates what needs to happen next and takes the initiative to make it happen.

This isn't a traditional administrative support role. We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, exercises good judgment, follows through relentlessly, and takes pride in helping a CEO and leadership team operate at their best.

The right person doesn't just manage a calendar. They protect the CEO's time, anticipate needs, prepare for what's ahead, and keep important priorities moving.

What You'll Do

  • Strategically manage the CEO's calendar, priorities, and competing demands.
  • Anticipate meetings, deadlines, decisions, and information needs.
  • Prepare executive briefings, presentations, correspondence, and meeting materials.
  • Track commitments and ensure important follow-up doesn't get lost between meetings.
  • Coordinate executive leadership meetings and selected CEO-led initiatives.
  • Serve as a key liaison with McLeod's Board of Trustees, coordinating meetings, materials, communications, and governance activities.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and with external partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve executive workflow, organization, and effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with initiative, judgment, curiosity, discretion, and exceptional follow-through—someone who can learn an organization well enough to understand not only what needs to be done, but what likely needs to happen next.

Successful candidates will bring:

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible executive support experience.
  • Experience supporting a CEO, President, C-suite executive, or comparable senior leader strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Confidence working with executives, Board members, employees, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong technology skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited direction.
  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit organizations, or Board support is a plus.

Why McLeod?

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is a nonprofit healthcare organization committed to building a foundation of healing and hope based on equity, education, and evidence-based practice for all communities. We're growing, evolving, developing new models of care, and expanding our reach. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while playing an important role in helping a mission-driven organization operate at its best.

What we offer you as an employee:
  • Employer Paid Benefits: Benefit from 100% employer-paid benefits, including short and long-term disability, group-term life insurance, and an Employee Assistance Program.
  • Financial Security: Secure your future with a 401(k) plan, with company matches up to 3% after 90 days of employment.
  • Generous Leave Policies: Enjoy paid time off and additional benefits such as bereavement and jury duty.
  • Holiday Benefits: Celebrate 9 paid observed holidays.
  • PSLF Eligible: As an employee of a non-profit organization, you qualify for Public Student Loan Forgiveness to assist with your student loans.
  • Continuous Growth Opportunities: Invest in your professional development with ongoing support and free continuing education opportunities across multiple disciplines. We also offer top-tier individual and group clinical supervision for professionals seeking CADC and LCAS licensures.

If you're energized by being the person who stays three steps ahead, keeps priorities moving, and makes the people around you more effective, we'd like to meet you.

Research indicates that women and underrepresented groups tend to apply for jobs only when they believe they meet 100% of the qualifications. At McLeod Centers, we encourage you to challenge this statistic and apply. It's rare for anyone to meet every qualification. We look forward to hearing from you!
