If you are ready to contribute to cutting-edge projects and make a difference in the field, we encourage you to apply.   Responsibilities: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities Include but not limited to: Responsible for the physical design of instruments, including electromechanical, fluidic and optical components. Collaborate with electronics and software engineers to integrate their efforts within the product development team. Develop prototypes for testing and conduct evaluations to identify design issues or opportunities for improvements. Document designs including 3D Models, Drawings and Assembly Procedures. Identify & troubleshoot problems through entire product life cycle. New Product Development & New Product Introduction QualificationsQualifications: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (physics, applied math, electrical engineering, chemistry). Master’s Degree a plus. 10+ Years as a mechanical engineer (or related) involved in the design of innovative electromechanical systems. Must have significant experience working in a multi-disciplinary project team, with a proven record of design innovation. Familiarity with 3-D CAD modeling is required; Creo Parametric experience is a plus. Other Skills: The ideal candidate will possess a high level of creativity to drive innovative solutions Communication skills are essential, along with the initiative to proactively interact with team members Systems-Level Thinking; acutely detail-oriented and organized, capable of maintain a high standard in design and documentation. Very strong technical and analytical abilities, combined with an inventive and resourceful mindset.
