How you’ll contribute:
As a Senior Product Management Consultant, you’ll be responsible for serving as a subject matter expert on annuity products, providing consultation, education, and support to internal and external stakeholders while helping implement product initiatives, manage in-force products, and address complex product-related inquiries and exceptions. The role partners closely with Distribution, Legal, Finance, Compliance, Operations, and senior leadership to support product governance, marketing allowance agreements, policy interpretation, dispute resolution, and advisor/client issue management. Strong annuity industry expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences are essential for success in this position.

In this role, you’ll get to:
- Work closely with Distribution as a subject matter resource to provide consultation, education, and support on new and in-force annuity products. This includes addressing product-related questions; internal and external consultations on product features; and annuity illustrations support.
- Provide support on initiatives facilitating annuity product implementation efforts, changes to product offerings, and in-force annuity product management.
- Coordinate with BHF Law Group, Finance, Strategic Relationship Management & Operations, and Senior Management on the development, implementation, and ongoing management of annual renewable firm marketing allowance agreements.
- Review and adjudication of annuity product exception requests from clients, advisors, distributors, contract administration, etc. in consultation with BHF business functions.
- Communication of the Brighthouse Financial position on individual cases to senior management, distributors, Strategic Relationship Managers, Sales Desk, Key Partner Program representatives, etc. as appropriate to the case.
- Interpretation and application of operational policy, including Brighthouse Financial Internal Exchange Rules and Large Case Underwriting.
- Work closely with BHF Law Group and Compliance to address advisor / client complaints; facilitate settlement coordination; and resolve disputes that arise under distribution agreements.

We’re looking for people who have:
- Previous annuity and financial services experience (5+ years).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills including the MS Office suite.
- A valid FINRA SIE, Series 6 or 7 license or the ability to obtain the required licenses within a designated timeframe.

- Compensation – Base salary ranging from $85,000 - $95,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results.
