We are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to join our growing teams in Charlotte, NC.. If you're an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Construction Manager who thrives on leading large ground-up and renovation projects, developing high-performing teams, and building lasting client relationships, we'd love to talk.

In this leadership role, you'll manage complex commercial building construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, overseeing budgets, schedules, project teams, and client relationships while partnering with owners, architects, engineers, and trade contractors to deliver exceptional results.

Lead Complex Commercial Construction Projects

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction including preconstruction, estimating support, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Lead projects ranging from healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, and multifamily construction.
  • Develop and execute project plans that achieve schedule, budget, quality, and safety goals.
  • Drive project execution while identifying opportunities to improve productivity and profitability.
  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents, Project Engineers, Estimators, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Build Strong Client Relationships

  • Serve as the primary contact for owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Lead OAC meetings, client presentations, and executive-level project updates.
  • Build trusted relationships that result in repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Resolve challenges proactively while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.

Manage Project Financials

  • Oversee project budgets, cost forecasting, cash flow, change orders, buyout, subcontract management, and financial reporting.
  • Review contracts and negotiate subcontract agreements.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement strategies to protect schedule and profitability.
  • Partner with Operations, Accounting, and Preconstruction to ensure successful project delivery.

Lead High-Performing Teams

  • Mentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and support staff.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and solutions-oriented team environment.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent commercial construction experience.
  • 8+ years of commercial general contracting experience managing large construction projects.
  • Experience leading projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Proven success managing ground-up construction, renovations, tenant improvements, or occupied renovations.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, project teams, client relationships, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and safely.
