Job Summary

Job Description:

Compass Group, the world's leading contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as a Regional Accountant.

The primary role is providing financial support to our field operations while maintaining top notch internal customer service.

Responsibilities:

Perform team-specific tasks as assigned
Participate in management of 7,000+ client contracts using custom database

Manage and prioritize scope
Capture specific contract language
Review reports to ensure timely completion of documentation
Perform audits on contracts to ensure compliance

Create and/or review process documentation
Assist with special projects
Assist other teams within department when requested
Identify best practices within the role and strive to improve processes and efficiencies

Qualifications:

Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum three years full general ledger or contractual accounting experience

Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines
Must be a quick learner and self-motivated
Experience with contract interpretation is a plus
Proficient knowledge of Excel, SAP a plus
Relationship builder that is able to effectively communicate, written and verbally, with all levels of associates across the organization
