Warehouse Material Handler (Evening Shift)

How would you like to be our new night shift Warehouse Material Handler?

As a Warehouse Material Handler:

• You’ll pick orders, stock transfers, and handle returns for technicians, as well as warranty returns back to vendors. When our technicians need new parts so they can keep helping people with their heating, air, and plumbing problems, you have the important role of making sure we have everything they need! Sometimes, this includes returning parts back to vendors when things are still under warranty.
• You’ll help clean the warehouse and set up for occasional in-house events. Sometimes, we have company breakfasts, fiestas, and more! 
• You’ll pull inventory for parts runners. When a customer needs help and one of our technicians is missing a part they need, our parts runners will get the piece from the warehouse and deliver it. You’ll make sure they have the part they need, and sometimes, you might even be the one to deliver the part when things get busy.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be working Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm.
• You'll make $20/HR!

• You have basic computer skills, and you have an eye for details. Those things will come in handy when you do data entry. Don’t worry—you won’t have to write any reports!
• You’re always willing to jump in and help others! If we didn’t have people like you, we wouldn’t be able to provide same-day service to our customers. You’re important!
• You love a good challenge, especially when it means you learn something new. When something is tricky, you aren’t easily discouraged—you see it as a challenge to overcome!

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the person is frequently required to traverse throughout the warehouse, office, and outside while operating a forklift, pallet jack, motor vehicle, and occasionally computer or other office equipment.  Occasionally ascends/descends stairs to access attic storage. Frequently moves objects weighing up to 50 pounds.  Must be able to identify and inspect equipment and parts.

Mental Demands:  Must be able to perceive and distinguish emotions in telephone conversations, as well as deal with adversarial confrontations.  Requires an ability to concentrate and prioritize multiple tasks at once. 

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job the noise level is usually moderate. Occasionally requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions.  Must maintain confidentiality with customer information.

• Additional hours are seasonally required and Holidays as needed
• Must have reliable attendance and flexible schedule availability
