Job Description:

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our 2nd Shift warehouse team. This role is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team while ensuring a safe, productive, and efficient operation. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who can build engaged teams, hold employees accountable, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Shift: Sunday-Thursday, start time between 3:00pm and 5:00pm, ending approximately 1:00am (average) based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse associates to achieve operational goals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability by providing regular coaching, performance feedback, and addressing employee performance and attendance issues when needed.
  • Direct daily warehouse operations, including order selection, shipping, receiving, and inventory movement to meet productivity, quality, and service expectations.
  • Interview, assess, and participate in the hiring and onboarding of warehouse associates.
  • Train and develop employees while identifying opportunities for growth and advancement.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and accuracy while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the team through operational changes while maintaining employee engagement and performance.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, safe equipment operation, and proactive safety practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3 -5 years of supervisory experience leading warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or similar operations.
  • Experience leading teams of 15 or more employees.
  • Demonstrated experience handling employee relations, coaching, performance management, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS), preferred.
  • Experience leading teams through operational or organizational change, preferred.
  • Must be able to work assigned hours, Sunday-Thursday with a start time between 3:00pm and 5:00pm.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and promote safe work practices.
  • Must be able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking.
