Role Description

We are seeking a senior operator to build and dlead AEX’s network vendor management and backhaul coordination function.  This role will establish AEX as a centralized vendor management layer across network providers and drive operational accountability across vendors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish AEX as the centralized vendor management layer across network providers
• Own backhaul coordination, vendor relationships, and implementation oversight
• Build scalable workflows, SLAs, and reporting frameworks
• Drive operational accountability across vendors and internal teams
• Support development of a repeatable, productized service offering

Experience & Qualifications

• 8 - 12 years of experience in telecom, fiber, or network operations
• Strong background in vendor management, backhaul, or network deployment
• Experience operating across multiple vendors and markets
• Experience building or scaling operational functions preferred
• Experience in high-growth or infrastructure environments preferred

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of fiber construction and turnup processes
• Strong operational execution and attention to detail
• Ability to manage complexity across multiple stakeholders
• Commercial awareness around vendor economics and contracts
• Structured thinker with ability to build processes from scratch
