This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices. Job expectations may include coaching, mentoring, providing feedback and hands on career development, identifying emerging talent, fostering leadership skills, and managing stakeholders.

This role serves as the Authorized Data Source (ADS) Manager for Global Transaction Services (GTS) Data and as a Senior Data Technology Manager. In this capacity, the individual is expected to be an experienced leader responsible for building and leading a team that delivers trusted, timely, and secure data and information products and services aligned to business outcomes.

The Manager and team are accountable for Authorized Data Source (ADS) and Authorized Data Set (ADSet) ownership end‑to‑end, including ADS and ADSet governance, as well as the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of technology controls to mitigate data risk. This role is also accountable for identifying, documenting, and maintaining the inventory of data transformations occurring within ADS, into local and enterprise systems of records and ensuring accuracy of inventory.

The role requires ensuring adherence to Enterprise Policies, Global Payment Solutions (GPS) Requirements, and Global Technology and ITGPST strategies for all initiatives and ongoing operational changes. The Manager is expected to achieve these goals through effective team management and by fostering development through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands‑on career development. Additional key responsibilities include actively engaging in and helping drive the realization of technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business outcomes, and complying with enterprise data management standards, global records management standards, and data quality and control practices for authorized data sources. Will be expected to understand and upholding the Data Management Enterprise Policy & Standards and the obligations mandated. This will include working closely with the named data roles including GPS Line of Business Data Strategy Management Executive and the Global Banking Technology Data Quality Control Executive.

The individual will advocate for and advance modern Agile solution delivery practices and promote strong design, engineering, and organizational practices. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving business outcomes through sound judgment, disciplined risk management, and operational excellence, along with demonstrated skill in process optimization and scaling talent to deliver value.

This role requires a technology‑savvy leader who aligns digital strategy with business priorities, delivers innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and resiliency, and translates emerging technologies into actionable outcomes while proactively managing risk.

The individual will be a strategic thinker with deep industry insight and an enterprise mindset, known for fostering a risk‑aware culture, financial stewardship, and the ability to navigate complex environments with agility.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives

  • Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills

  • Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met

  • Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization

  • Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain

  • Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers

  • Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience in technology leadership roles, with a strong track record of managing complex portfolios and cross‑functional teams

  • 5+ years' of domain expertise in data technology tools, including SQL, data streaming (Kafka, MQ, etc.), data pipelining (Spark, PySpark, Informatica, etc.), and cloud technologies (Azure Data Explorer, AWS Glue, etc.)

  • 5+ years' of domain expertise in Treasury Products, Fulfillment, or Servicing across one or more key areas, including DDA, Client Liquidity, Payments, Receivables, Billing, Trade Finance, and/or Commercial Cards

  • Strong attention to detail to meet the requirements of highly regulated and frequently audited processes in a global risk environment

  • Strong ability to consolidate information into executive‑ready and audit‑ready presentations

  • Ability to present and communicate information clearly to executive audiences, technical audiences, business audiences and auditors

  • Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and resource planning

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically, including the ability to challenge the status quo, drive change, design innovative solutions, and deliver results

  • Strong partnership and relationship management skills, with the ability to work across functions and organizational levels

  • Demonstrated experience with Bank of America’s Enterprise Data Management Standards, or similar standards at another major financial institution

  • Demonstrated experience with Bank of America’s Enterprise Data Management Data Transport requirements, or similar frameworks at another major financial institution

  • Advanced understanding of the Banking and Treasury value chain

  • Understanding of regulatory and non‑regulatory Treasury reporting for both financial and non‑financial reporting needs
