Wedgewood Weddings & Events is looking for a Catering Driver & Prep Cook to support our culinary team by ensuring seamless food deliveries and assisting with kitchen operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being on the move, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

  • Safely transport prepared food and catering equipment between venues using a company vehicle.
  • Load, unload, and set up catering items to support seamless wedding and event execution.
  • Assist with food preparation, plating, and kitchen support to ensure events run smoothly and on schedule.
  • Execute food service during events while maintaining high standards of guest service and presentation.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures to uphold quality and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate closely with culinary and event teams to deliver exceptional event experiences.
  • Support kitchen operations after service, including dishwashing, cleaning, and breakdown duties.
  • Return the catering vehicle and equipment to the designated location at the end of each shift.


Requirements: 

  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Must be at least 21 years old.

  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience driving a similar type of commercial vehicle.

  • Must successfully pass all required background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle record (MVR) reviews.

  • Ability to lift and transport food and supplies safely.

  • Experience in food service, catering, or kitchen prep is a plus.

  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • As is typical in the hospitality industry, this position requires regular availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as shifts of more than 8 hours and workweeks of more than 40 hours.
