Position: Healthcare Server, Full-time & Part-time

Schedule: Full-time must be able to work 1st and 2nd shifts including weekends.

Part-time 4:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and must be available on weekends.

Pay: $15 - 15.86 per hour (depending on experience) + $600 Sign On Bonus!

Position Summary:

The Cypress of Charlotte is looking for a warm, service‑minded Healthcare Server to join our team! In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming dining experience for our health center residents by preparing and serving meals that match their individualized dietary needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare simple desserts and salads with care.
Serve meals in the health center with a friendly, attentive approach.
Set up dining room tables before mealtimes and clear/refresh them afterward.
Delivers hot and cold foods and non-food items to residents at the health center to support a smooth meal service.

Qualifications:

A minimum of six months’ experience in nursing home food service preferred.
Fundamental working knowledge of therapeutic diets, sanitation and personal hygiene.
Ability to understand, follow and perform simple arithmetic.
Ability to plan and organize work, set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards.
Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires empathy for the elderly.
Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
