About The Position
 Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Hematologist/Oncologist for a locum tenens position at a hospital in North Carolina. This 64-day assignment begins on 08/01/2025, with potential for extension. The physician will work four days per week from 8am to 5pm, focusing on Medical Oncology. The ideal candidate should be comfortable using Epic EMR system and have experience in providing comprehensive care for oncology patients. Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide medical oncology services to patients
• Diagnose and treat various types of cancer and blood disorders
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Conduct patient consultations and follow-up appointments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient management and record-keeping
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in hematology and oncology
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry best practices
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina
• Board certification in Hematology/Oncology required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential
• Ability to work efficiently in a hospital setting
