Shift/Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
The QC Specialist will perform in-process inspections using documented procedures; detect, identify, and reports incidents of non-conformance to lockbox instructions, for the specific client throughout the process. Communicates current quality issues/non-conformances to the Operations Supervisor and Lead. Communication also includes compiling and reporting data for use by leadership and Quality Analyst.
Perform QC checks to assure quality and process adherence such as:
Compare job numbers and checks in batches against lockbox instructions
Sample checks for verification of Payee/P.O. Box match
Verify client ID on batch headers matches RPS
Log each batch that has been reviewed and results of review
Identify and communicate errors and non-compliances to Supervisor/Lead’s attention immediately so corrections can be made. Assist in determining root cause and provide input into process improvement to avoid/reduce operating errors
Compile data from sampling/auditing of batches to provide to Operations Supervisors and managers. Data will include:
Types of errors
Frequency of errors
Errors per operator/day/customer
Basic Qualifications:
1 to 3 years of Quality experience.
Experience working in a team environment.
Knowledge of Operational Functions and procedures
Accuracy/Attention to detail
Working knowledge of Word & Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years’ experience in a Quality role
Additional Basic Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
