About The Position

Locum Tenens Opportunity - OB/GYN Physician - North Carolina

Start Date: April 4, 2025

End Date: February 1, 2026

Assignment Details:

• Coverage Type: 24-hour Call Only (Beeper; 20-min response time)
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• EMR: MediTech 6.1
• Patients Seen/Admissions/Callbacks: Varies
• Support Staff: None provided

Required Certifications & Credentials:

• Board Certification (OB/GYN)
• Active NC Medical License & NC DEA
• NC Medicaid Credentialed
• Medicare/PECOS Enrolled
• Fully Vaccinated
• ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, Laser Certification

Skills & Procedures (Required unless otherwise noted):

• Routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, breech, multiple births, VBACs, C-sections)
• OB Ultrasounds (Performance & Interpretation preferred)
• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Office & Minor GYN (IUDs, LEEP, Colposcopy, etc.)
• Surgical GYN (open, laparoscopic, operative/major)
