The RoleÂ
Bellwether is seeking a Business Development Manager to support continued growth across Charlotte. This is a full-cycle sales role responsible for driving net-new business while building long-term relationships within assigned markets.Â
You will own the sales process from prospecting through close, leading discovery conversations with decision-makers and collaborating closely with internal teams to design thoughtful, scalable solutions. This role is ideal for a motivated seller who values ownership, teamwork, and meaningful impact within a growing organization.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution alignment, proposal, and closeÂ
- Drive new business growth within assigned in-market territoriesÂ
- Generate first-time appointments (FTAs) through outbound prospecting, referrals, and local presenceÂ
- Lead consultative conversations with executive-level stakeholdersÂ
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions aligned with client goals and Bellwether standardsÂ
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting within HubSpot CRMÂ
- Build trusted, long-term client relationships rooted in integrity and accountabilityÂ
- Meet and exceed revenue, activity, and growth targetsÂ

RequirementsÂ
- Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within technology, IT services, or consultative sellingÂ
- Strong prospecting skills across phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person outreachÂ
- Comfort engaging with C-level and senior business leadersÂ
- Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentÂ
- Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownershipÂ
- Experience using CRM tools to manage pipeline and activityÂ

Compensation & BenefitsÂ
- Base salary of $70,000–$110,000, plus strong commission structure
