Essential Functions

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments using clinical interviews, patient history, and program standards.
  • Formulate accurate diagnoses aligned with DSM criteria.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis, age, and clinical presentation.
  • Collaborate with patients and guardians to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Provide clinical supervision to Psychologist I, predoctoral interns, and graduate practicum students.
  • Perform forensic evaluations and provide expert testimony when required.
  • Select, administer, and interpret psychological tests; prepare detailed evaluation reports.
  • Apply diverse treatment modalities and theoretical frameworks consistent with current clinical standards.
  • Create discharge plans tailored to client needs and manage termination processes.
  • Respond to crises with appropriate intervention and assessment skills.

Education, Experience, and Certifications

  • Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program required.
  • License eligible or currently licensed as a Licensed Practicing Psychologist by the N.C. State Board of Examiners of Practicing Psychologists.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required per policy guidelines.
