CARE | Charlotte Animal Referral & Emergency is a privately owned 24-hour Emergency and Specialty Referral Hospital in Charlotte, NC that offers its employees a fun company culture, supportive work environment, excellent benefits, and opportunities for growth! Board-certified specialty services offered include Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, and Surgery.

The Position: We’re looking for an experienced Client Service Representative; veterinary CSR experience is preferred but not required.

The Schedule: We have the following schedules available:

  • 8am - 4pm / 8am - 6pm
  • 11am - 7pm / 11am - 9pm
  • As a 24/7 hospital, we are open on weekends and holidays. All CSRs will be required to rotate holiday coverage.

Requirements:

 
  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
  • Proficient with computers.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Emotional intelligence, self and social awareness

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and patients as they enter the hospital
  • Answer multi-line telephone
  • Check patients in as they arrive
  • Notify technicians when patients have arrived
  • Secure all documents prior to the arrival of patients for scheduled appointments
  • Scan and save documents according to protocols
  • Input patient and client information correctly into the electronic medical record
  • Other duties as assigned.
