Summary

The Warehouse Lead will assist the warehouse supervisor/manager with daily warehouse operations as a hands-on leader of the warehouse associates.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities

§ Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the warehouse to ensure work targets are met.

§ Receive and store materials and supplies

§ Entry of received items into SAP

§ Pull stock to fulfill customer orders, utilizing forklifts and other material handling equipment.

§ Responsible for the branch On-Time Delivery performance and reporting.

§ Prepare paperwork including shipping labels, quality documents, and instructions

§ Perform quality checks to ensure quality compliance

§ Lead daily cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy

§ Assist with EIS safety and compliance policy procedure documentation

§ Maintain cleanliness and safety of the warehouse

§ All other duties assigned and required

Education and/or Experience

§ Requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred

§ Minimum 3 to 5 years’ general warehouse experience

§ Minimum 1 – 3 years’ of demonstrated staff leadership and motivation experience

§ Ability to lift 50 pounds

§ Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively

§ Working knowledge of warehouse operations

§ Ability to effectively use the computer system to record materials received and shipped

§ Physical ability to assist with warehouse operations

§ Effective communication

Language Skills:

The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization. Comfort in facilitating meetings and communicating with leadership.
