As an Operations Specialist, you will support key customer accounts within RXO’s 4PL Warehouse organization. This role is highly customer-facing and plays a critical part in ensuring daily warehouse operations run smoothly, service levels are met, and customer expectations are exceeded. You will act as a central point of coordination between customers, warehouse partners, and internal RXO teams.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
  • Support day-to-day operations for assigned 4PL warehouse customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely execution
  • Serve as a primary operational point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries related to inventory, orders, inbound and outbound activity
  • Monitor daily warehouse activity including receipts, shipments, inventory movements, and order fulfillment
  • Maintain accurate customer and operational data across systems, including warehouse management and reporting tools
  • Communicate operational updates, risks, and exceptions to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Investigate and help resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, damages, and service issues
  • Coordinate with warehouse partners to schedule and adjust inbound and outbound activity as needed
  • Support performance tracking and reporting tied to service level agreements (SLAs) and customer KPIs
  • Assist with process improvements, documentation, and operational best practices to improve service consistency and efficiency
At a Minimum, You’ll Need
  • 1 year of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, or a related operations role
  • General knowledge of warehouse or transportation operations
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
It’d Be Great If You Also Have
  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree a plus)
  • Experience supporting customer accounts or client-facing operations
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation systems, or operational reporting tools
  • Experience documenting processes or preparing routine operational reports
  • Ability to apply common-sense problem solving to written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions
