Van Driver (CNA)

The Laurels of Charlottesville is looking for a Van Driver for Non-Emercency Medical Transportation that will also function as a primary support person for multiple other departments.  

DUTIES: Primary duties are transportation of patients to medical appointments in a company vehicle. This is non-emergency medical transportation but we are looking for a CNA/PCA . This is a temporary to permanent position that will be qualified for benefits after certification.  When not providing patient transportation, you will be assisting in other areas of the facility such as environmental services, maintenance, front office reception, screening and direct care support.  This is a position that requires a dependable person who is able to arrive on time and is able to use good judgement.  Must also be willing to work in cooperation with all departments and take instruction well.  

QUALIFICATIONS :

• 1 year of Non-Emergency Medical Transport or commercial driving experience within the past 5 years
• 21 years or older.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening, criminal back ground check, motor vehicle records check.
• You must have no DUI/DWI, within the past 5 years
• You must have a smart phone for navigation
