Overview
At Boar’s Head Resort, we are looking for an energetic and guest-focused Barista & Smoothie Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment while delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages.
You will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient Grab & Go experience for our guests, while supporting broader Food & Beverage operations during peak times.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, and light food items
- Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized guest service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café/Grab & Go area
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems
- Restock products, merchandise, and supplies throughout the shift
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Support Food & Beverage operations as needed, including poolside service support during peak periods
- Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Previous barista, café, or food & beverage experience preferred
- Positive attitude with a strong guest service mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak summer season
Work Environment
- Fast-paced café and Grab & Go setting
- May include indoor and outdoor service environments
- Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Schedule & Pay
- Full-Time, Seasonal role with variable hours based on business needs
- Opportunity for additional hours through cross-training in other Food & Beverage areas
- Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
