Martha Jefferson House, a distinguished small assisted living community in Charlottesville, is seeking a Full-Time Cook to join our Dietary Team. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals for residents and staff.
Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistency, quality, and dietary compliance.
Assist with meal planning and daily kitchen operations.
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with regulations.
Work collaboratively with the Dietary Director and team members.
Maintain a dependable work schedule.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen preferred.
Ability to read and follow recipes accurately.
Strong attention to food safety and sanitation standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Professional communication and reliability are required.

Employment Requirements:

Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
Must successfully complete a practical Cooking Test demonstrating culinary skill and recipe adherence.
