JR Biometrics & Identity Intelligence Analyst

Overview

Tactica Solutions is seeking a Biometrics & Identity Intelligence Analyst to support national-level intelligence and security operations in Charlottesville, VA. The analyst will provide all-source Identity Intelligence (I2) analysis to enhance force protection, counterterrorism, and counterintelligence missions by producing analytic assessments and identity intelligence products that inform decision-makers across the defense and intelligence community.

Typical Job Duties and Tasks:

• Conduct all-source analysis and research focused on biometric and identity intelligence.
• Produce analytic products supporting global missions and government customers.
• Fuse identity attributes (biographical, biological, behavioral, contextual, reputational) to assess threat actors and networks.
• Employ tools such as BI2R/I2AR, SOFEX, Palantir, Query Tree, Analyst Notebook, BAT, TIDE, QLIX, and open-source research.
• Coordinate analysis production with senior analysts and team leads.
• Brief mission and production topics to government and military audiences.
• Support a 24/7 operational team; shift work may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum six (6) years relevant experience; two (2) years acceptable with an Associate’s Degree.
• Strong research, writing, and structured analytic tradecraft.
• Thorough understanding of Identity Intelligence tradecraft.
• Experience with the tools/databases listed above.
• Able to work independently and in teams; receptive to feedback and analytic debate.
• Strong briefing and stakeholder engagement skills.

Required Security ClearanceActive TS/SCI required prior to start.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.

Salary Range: $54,000.00 – $64,000.00
