NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator to provide warehouse, supply, and logistics support to our Intelligence Community (IC) customer. The selected candidate will support material management, property accountability, transportation coordination, and equipment life cycle activities within a secure mission environment.Â
This position will require occasional travel to the DC/Northern Virginia area.
\n- Provide administrative and logistics support in the development of requirements and documentation for government acquisition of equipmentÂ
- Assist in conducting market research with DoD organizations and commercial vendors supporting detection, collection, and related technologiesÂ
- Maintain accurate inventories of accountable equipment and suppliesÂ
- Assist in maintaining accounts in the Financial Accounting and Corporate Tracking System (FACTS) and support property accountability functionsÂ
- Support scheduling and execution of required periodic maintenance for equipment and assist in updating equipment and spare parts databasesÂ
- Assist with purchasing mission-related equipment, software, and expendable itemsÂ
- Support shipping load-outs using commercial and military transportation systemsÂ
- Assist in facilitating transportation of equipment and supplies (hazardous and non-hazardous materials), including support to MILAIR standardsÂ
- Provide support for material management, supply program implementation, stock record control, and requisition processingÂ
- Assist in preparation and review of documentation including DD200, DD250, and DD1149 formsÂ
- Receive, inspect, inventory, load, unload, segregate, store, issue, deliver, turn in, and dispose of organizational supplies and equipmentÂ
- Support warehouse organization, storage management, accountability, and preservation of supplies and equipmentÂ
- Assist with warehouse badging and access system supportÂ
- Courier classified and unclassified materials between locations in accordance with security protocolsÂ
- Track Purchase Requests and route through appropriate channels for government reviewÂ
- Provide back-up support to Communications Specialist as requiredÂ
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse or logistics operationsÂ
- Basic understanding of inventory management and supply chain processesÂ
- Ability to lift, move, and organize equipment and supplies in a warehouse environmentÂ
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsÂ
- Ability to follow established procedures and security protocolsÂ
- Willingness to work in a secure, mission-driven environmentÂ
- Interim SECRET clearance required to start; must be eligible for TS/SCIÂ
- Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community organizationsÂ
- Familiarity with property accountability systems such as FACTSÂ
- Experience with hazardous material handling and shipping proceduresÂ
- Experience supporting secure material handling and courier responsibilitiesÂ
