As the Pharmacy Manager, you’ll oversee the entire operation of the pharmacy department, including everything from setting and achieving department goals to managing a team of pharmacists, team leaders and technicians.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee pharmacy operations, including workflow, scheduling, ordering, payroll, required documentation, staff training, and issue resolution
  • Set and achieve goals with pharmacists and team leaders, holding them accountable for sales, profitability, retention, diversity, and employee development
  • Manage pharmacy workflow and dispensing, ensuring best practices are followed while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Partner with store leadership to champion company initiatives, partnering across departments to integrate programs and drive storewide success
  • Continuously self-educate about products and business trends and analyze these along with customer trends, market data and financial reports to increase profitability
  • Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and business performance to drive profitability
  • Interview, select and arrange training of new team members
  • Teach, encourage and empower employees to take on new responsibilities utilizing training and career development tools

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree 
  • Pharmacist State License (may require licensing in multiple states) 
  • Computer skills 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience including achieving results, interviewing, performance management, employee development and managing financials
