CFA Institute is hiring two Product Managers to operationalize and scale our Skills Initiative. You will lead the development of simulation-based, AI-enabled, and task-driven capabilities that enable investment professionals to demonstrate real-world competence. 

You will turn strategy into execution, building scalable digital solutions across our education portfolio. This is an opportunity to redefine how applied skills are developed, measured, and validated on a global scale. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Own the roadmap and delivery of simulation-based and skills-focused product capabilities within the Education portfolio 

  • Translate product vision into clear requirements and prioritised backlogs aligned to defined learning and assessment outcomes 

  • Lead cross-functional discovery and delivery across Engineering, Design, Data, and assessment stakeholders 

  • Build AI-enabled simulations and task-based experiences designed to measure applied competence within a credentialed environment 

  • Balance learner experience, technical feasibility, and assessment validity when making product trade-offs

  • Manage external vendors and partners to co-create high-quality digital learning and assessment solutions 

  • Define success metrics, support business cases, and manage risks and dependencies to ensure sustainable product outcomes 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 5+ years’ Product Management experience within EdTech, digital learning, assessment, or credentialing environments 

  • Demonstrated ownership of a product roadmap and backlog for digital learning or assessment products 

  • Proven delivery of simulation-based, task-based, or AI-enabled learning and assessment solutions 

  • Experience working within assessment-led, credentialed, or regulated environments, or exposure to high-stakes assessment models 

  • Experience partnering closely with Engineering or technical development teams to translate learning or assessment concepts into scalable system requirements 

  • Experience managing external vendors or third-party development partners 

  • Evidence of defining product success metrics and using performance data to inform iteration or improvement 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience 

Preferred Experience 

  • Experience within assessment or credentialing organisations 

  • Exposure to applied skills measurement frameworks or Evidence-Centred Design 

  • Experience delivering products in professional education or regulated sectors

At CFA Institute, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring process. In compliance with wage transparency laws in many of the jurisdictions in which we recruit, we provide the following information regarding compensation for this position: Expected salary range: US $100,000-$125,000 per year. All salary ranges are subject to adjustment based on experience, education, location and other factors relevant to the position. Additional benefits include eligibility for an annual incentive bonus, a 12% employer contribution to a 401(k) plan, and a comprehensive medical benefits package.
