UVA Imaging is seeking a Scheduler I to join our patient-focused team in Charlottesville, Virginia!
Position Status: Full-Time
Schedule:Â Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Position Overview
The Scheduler I plays an important role in creating a positive experience for our patients. This position supports patients throughout the scheduling and registration process while working closely with our Imaging Center and Business Office teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating imaging services
- Providing friendly and professional assistance to patients by phone
- Registering patients and maintaining accurate patient information
- Managing medical records and other patient documentation
- Communicating with patients, physician offices, and internal team members
- Supporting daily Business Office and Imaging Center operations
- Providing excellent customer service throughout every patient interaction

Requirements
EDUCATION:
- To be competitive, must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
