The Wellness, Lifestyles, and Resident Services Manager is responsible for managing a variety of programs and functions including Lifestyles Coordinators in Independent Living, Catered Living, Vista and Health Care, and the Beauty Salon. The Wellness, Lifestyles and Resident Services Manager serves as a liaison to various resident committees such as the library, Gift Shop and Flower Committee, and provides support to these groups as needed. The position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and promoting creativity and life enhancing programs and events throughout the community.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of a comprehensive schedule of events and programs that cater to the diverse needs and interest of residents.
  • Collaborate with residents and staff to plan events, workshops, lectures, and performances.
  • Provide strategic oversight of daily Resident Services requests and concerns, ensure effective execution of Resident Services duties, and General Administration.
  • Oversee program logistics to ensure rooms, audiovisual resources, and all requested equipment are properly reserved, set up, and fully operational to support resident and staff needs.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the “Resident Handbook” published and online for resident information.
  • Oversee team that serves as first point of contact for new residents joining WCBR.
  • Oversee various resident issues and requests, work closely with ancillary departments to fulfill requests while providing a high level of resident satisfaction.
 


Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent project management, time management, and fiscal responsibility.
  • Excellent decision-making skills, strong organizational skills, ability to work well with residents and staff, attention to detail and ability to prioritize and handle many projects at one time.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and thorough understanding of strategic development.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration, Human Services, Gerontology, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of two or more years of experience in senior living, independent living, long‑term care, community health, or disability services.
  • Minimum of three or more years of supervisory or management experience overseeing operations, compliance, or resident services.
  • Experience working with Senior Level executives in a corporate environment.
