Position Summary

The Stylist provides professional salon services to residents in a welcoming and respectful environment. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality hair and nail care services while promoting dignity, comfort, and overall well-being.

Services Provided

• Haircuts and styling
 • Perms and basic chemical services
 • Shampooing and blow-drying
 • Manicures and pedicures
 • General grooming and personal care services

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous salon services to residents
 • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
 • Follow all sanitation and infection control standards
 • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
 • Schedule and manage appointments efficiently
 • Ensure residents feel comfortable, respected, and valued during services

Qualifications

• Current Cosmetology License (Virginia required)
 • Experience with haircuts, perms, styling, manicures, and pedicures
 • Experience or interest in working with seniors preferred
 • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
 • Patience, compassion, and attention to detail
