 Youth & Family Support Worker – Community Based
Worcester/Charlton
Salary Range:Â $22.00 - $28.00/hour depending on experience and degree + sign-on bonus (half paid after 6 months of employment and half paid after 1 year of employment/pro-rated for part-time).

What you will do: 
- Provide culturally informed therapeutic interventions to children, young adults, and their families, that promote skill building in the life domains of: social functioning, symptom management, coping skills and activities of daily living. 
- Collaborate with all members of the team to ensure continuity in treatment, services, and messages delivered.Â
- Provide both "soft" services (mentoring, counseling, skill-building) with identified clients as well as "hard" services including transportation, referrals, accessing concrete services such as furniture, food, etc.
- Serve as an advocate and attend meetings with the family and as requested by the youth and/or family. Â

Minimum Requirements:Â
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field plus at least 1 year of direct experience working with children, young adults, and/or families.
- Driving in the community is a requirement of this position; please ensure you have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
We will train you in:  Motivational Interviewing; Courageous Conversations; Trauma Informed Practice; Attachment, Regulation and Competency Model (ARC).
